They Go Low,We Go Laugh is a variety show that originated in Montreal and features women of color and their friends expressing their comedic voices in new and vibrant ways. Their goal is to spread positivity and shine a light on the voices that are often overlooked or silenced.
As an illustrator for Astro Circo Studio and a female artist, I am extremely proud to contribute my talents to such a meaningful event. I hope that more minorities, LGBT individuals, and women who are active in the creative field can experience the love and empowerment that we want to spread. As the event states, it's all in the name of shining a little bit more light in this world.
